Often considered ‘the Godfather of acid house music in Sheffield’, Goldy had a hit with “The Weasel Jumper returns : 1987 Mix” (which peaked at number 83 for 2 consecutive weeks in the Ugandan ‘Acid House Hot 100’).

However, he is perhaps best known in his native Norfolk Park for losing his front tooth whilst eating a bad pistachio nut on Glencoe Road in 1989.
